It is located adjacent to Douglas Hill (highest point in Cumberland County) and is surrounded by hiking trails, hay fields, and orchard, blueberries and a forest. This property is perfect for family reunions, organizational retreats and nature lovers. It is halfway between Portland, Maine and North Conway, New Hampshire. There is a private trail leading to the top of Dyke Mountain with a gazebo overlooking the mountains. A pass to the Sebago Town Beach 5 miles away is included with the rental. Great location for a country retreat. Furnishings are Victorian, old fashioned.
This is a three story house. There are 4 bedrooms on the 3rd floor and the full bathroom has a small claw foot bathtub. There are 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the full bathroom has a claw foot bathtub with a shower extension. There is a large dinning/living room with 2 fireplaces, a large kitchen, and a full bathroom with a shower and no tub. No smoking. Outdoor furniture: 2 tables, 9 chairs, 1 hammock. The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, Mr. Coffee maker, 3 toasters, a crock pot, a portable broiler and an electric frying pan. Porch furniture: 2 tables, 9 chairs, and a hammock. Lawn games include croquet and badminton.
2 week minimum stay $2,500 for 2 weeks and $4,700 for one month. Rates may be negotiated for four months.
