Available until July 12, 2019: Two BNSF railroad bridges over the Marais Des Cygnes River in Franklin County, Kansas. The historic bridges are on the Emporia Subdivision at milepost 69.0, 2.3 miles northeast of Quenemo, Kansas and at milepost 71.3, 0.5 mile east of Quenemo, Kansas. The bridge at milepost 69.0 is a 200-foot, single span, steel bridge. The bridge at milepost 71.3 is a 269-foot, single span, steel bridge. The bridges were manufactured by American Bridge Company of New York in 1905. The bridges are offered gratis with the condition that the removal of the bridge from BNSF property shall be at the sole expense and responsibility of the recipient of the bridge.
